Preparation of manuscripts
- Authors should submit their manuscripts as word files and send it via the journal e-mail.
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, English language. With an Arabic summary (not exceeding 2 pages). To ensure the correct spelling of authors’ names to accompany the Arabic abstract, authors should provide their full names in Arabic.
- The original manuscript should be formatted with single line spacing using the letter type Arial [11 pt for all the manuscripts except title (12pt), abstract, keywords, tables& references (10pt)]. For Arabic summary use the letter type Time of New Roman [12 pt except for title (14pt)], preferably not more than16 pages. The manuscript should be compiled in the following order:
- Title: should be concise yet informative, preferably not more than 15 words.
- The authors’ full names in preferred publishing order, with the highest scientific degrees obtained and institutional affiliations in English and Arabic should be provided.
- Abstract: not exceeding 300 words. It should include aim of the study, subjects and methods (research design, setting, subjects and tools of data collection) results, conclusion and recommendations.
- Keywords: Authors are asked to provide (4 to 6) keywords, separated with semicolons.
- Introduction: should be brief &reference on it should be numerical
- Significance of study
- Aim of study
- Research question or hypothesis
- Subjects and methods: should include: research design, study setting, study subjects, tools of data collection, scoring system, content of validity &reliability, pilot study, fieldwork, administrative and ethical considerations, statistical analysis
- Results: Do not duplicate data in graphs and tables
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Recommendations
- Tables & Figures: black & white colors
- References: The Vancouver style should be followed. They must be numbered consecutively by their order of appearance in the text.
- An Arabic summary: should include title, introduction, aim of the study, subjects and methods (research design, setting, subjects and tools of data collection), results, conclusion & recommendations.
